Valerie's Biography
Valerie David graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Her recent credits include Brenda in the musical comedy Johnny Infamous, Denise in Reveal, Melissa in National Treasure, Cookie in Rumors and the volunteer in the Off-Broadway musical A Stoop on Orchard Street. Film: How I Became that Jewish Guy, Singles.com and Bridges and Tunnels. TV: Acura commercial and Comedy Central promo. Valerie has been performing her own material at the monthly Monologue and Madness at the Cornelia Cafe and is the national anthem singer for the New York City Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walks. She has also performed improv/sketch comedy with Hanging Cow Productions in Who Killed Mama Souprano? and My Fat Geek Wedding. Valerie has been the co-writer on original shows including This Blows, Two-mur Humor: He's Malignant; She's Benign and Bring on a Man. A proud member of Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) company, NYCPlaywrights, AFTRA and AEA, Valerie David is also a volunteer for the Drama Desk Awards and Obie Awards.

VALERIE DAVID is an American actress and singer with experience on stage and screen, including Off-Broadway, commercials, films, improv/sketch comedy and even guest-hosting a food TV show. Her special skills include acting, improv, singing, comedy writing, playwrighting, marathon cycling, dialects and Afro-Caribbean dancing.
Valerie also performs at special events. This includes singing the national anthem at the annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Fund-raising Walks in Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island and at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Fund-raiser.
